Information and Reminders:

Maniwaya Island

Maniwaya island isn’t your typical boracay-ish type of island. It is better imagined as a piece of land in the middle of the sea with a peaceful quiet and small fishing community. You won’t find any road, commercial establishments such as bars and restaurants; only few sari-sari stores. Overall, this is a quiet, peaceful, uncommercialized island.

Maniwaya Resort

This is a public resort open for all walk ins and other guest. Rooms are made of stylish nipa hut, with ample space for the group. Again, this is not your posh beach resort with complete amenities for luxury. No aircon as of the moment. However, we’ll do everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Its breezy during the night anyway. Also, the whole island has scheduled power supply. How ever they are using generators to sustain the supply of electricity within the resort.

What to Wear

Just wear your comfortable summer get up. However, it’s cold in our van so bring at least one jacket or sweater. Don’t forget your waterproofing stuff to save your stuff from being wet. Bring a bath towel and your toiletries.
